Paintings that Point to Healing
The artists of Jubilee have embraced the theme of Rapha: God Restores Our Broken Pieces. Rapha is a Hebrew verb meaning to heal, mend, or restore. One of God’s names, Jehovah Rapha, teaches us that God sees our brokenness and draws near to bring us comfort, healing, and ultimately restoration to a fullness of life with our Creator who delight in us as Beloved.

Jubilee Arts Collective is a catalyst for hope and transformation in underserved populations, creating opportunities for restoration through dance, literary, and visual art workshops, performances, and community engagement.
We are artists in missional community, collaborating through a season together, to communicate the Gospel and bring the arts as a healing agent into spaces creating opportunities for restoration.
We share the good news that Jesus Christ has come to redeem and restore all things and all people to fullness of life and freedom to flourish in relationship with God and others. We do this through art and relationships, building bridges across divides, and cultivating community that emphasizes unity.
Jubilee Dance is a professional dance company ushering in hope and healing through the beauty and power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We offer on site performance and ministry, guide creative worship exploration, lead restorative workshops and dance master classes.
We have ministered through dance in community concerts, church worship services, ministry events, and workshops including widows ministry, homeless outreach, women’s ministry, worship conferences, trafficking awareness, and all-abilities communities. We have partnered with the chaplain at La Vista Women’s Correctional Facility and Youth for Christ’s Juvenile Justice Mission in Youth Service Centers to bring Gospel centered programs into Colorado’s justice system.
Contact Info@JubileeArtsCollective.org for booking at your church, ministry, dance school, or community event.
We bring art as a gracious gift to usher in God’s presence and power to move in miraculous ways. We have seen physical and emotional healing and lives rescued
and restored in our programs. To God be the Glory!

The Jubilee Arts Collective Guild unites a small group of writers and artists over a season to present an art event centered around Jubilee's theme for the year. The 2024-2025 theme is Rapha: God Restores Our Broken Pieces.
Mosaic: An Interactive Journal contains original prose and poetry, inspired images from orginial paintings, and prompted reflection pages all centered on the theme of Rapha: God restores our broken pieces. The literary and visual arts guild of Jubilee Arts Collective has been journeying together with God and each other to explore His healing and restoration in their lives and in the Kingdom of God available to all. They are delighted to share their hearts and art with you in this beautiful full color journal intended for discovery, reflection, and healing.
This journal also serves as a means of restoration among many communities in need that Jubilee Arts Collective has cultivated relationships with. From our friends in trauma treatment, recovery programs, transitional housing, correctional facilities, and more- we would love to place this journal in their hands to further their healing journeys. Please consider also making a donation to gift journals to our friends in need.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, healing for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, ‘You are set free!’ I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for the time of God’s great acceptance has begun.” —Luke 4:18-19

Founders
Kristopher and Cheri met on the campus of Belhaven University performing in musicals, serving on Student Missions Fellowship leadership and Resident Life staff. After receiving a BA in Art and a BA in Dance respectively from Belhaven and graduating from the Focus Leadership Institute, they settled in the community of Colorado Springs. Two decades, four children, and countless book covers, art shows, dance concerts and students later, they are bursting with love for God, each other, their family and community. They have embraced God’s call to be a faithful presence in this community and to integrate the unique passions He has given them. Together Kristopher and Cheri have led Engage:creatives in community at Vanguard Church and the Art+Faith Ministry of International Anglican Church, and now Jubilee Arts Collective. They are passionate about gathering creatives into the circle of community with God and others; and through Kingdom-restored wholeness, activating artists to celebrate and share God’s glory.
Jubilee Dance is growing out of a dream Cheri had in 2021. God told her to watch and wait for something new He was going to birth out of her. Through sweet whispers, more dreams, and divine encounters, God brought clear vision and provision for the work He would put in her hands. In 2022, Cheri accepted the invitation to shepherd the work of missional arts through dance in Colorado under the covering and sponsorship of Open Sky Arts Collective. Open Sky Colorado, a professional dance company seeking out hidden places of society to bring comfort and hope through performance and workshops, began. Over the next two years, God blessed the community and the dancers through this work and made clear that He has more in store. Through a centralization of Open Sky’s mission and an expansion of the vision here, God birthed Jubilee Arts Collective in Colorado in 2024 which now houses the missional dance company known as Jubilee Dance.

grew up in LaGrange, Georgia, and began dancing at age three. She received her BFA in dance from Belhaven University where she had the opportunity to perform in many pieces, including Serenade, Les Sylphides, and Don Quixote. Taylor then moved to Statesboro, GA, and taught ballet, modern, and pointe at a dance studio where she became the director two years later. During that time, she also began teaching ballet as part of the PE requirements at a classical school in nearby Savannah. In 2021, Taylor began teaching ballet, pointe, and modern at Turning Pointe School of Dance in Colorado Springs and serves as the director of their Training program. Although faith and dance have always been a part of her life, being a company member of Jubilee Arts Collective has been such an amazing way to combine the two into one place.
has had a love of dance from the moment she started taking lessons at age 5. She took dance lessons one day a week on scholarship with the local parks and rec program because her large family wasn't able to afford classes. The taste of dance lessons that she was given in her growing up years fueled her desire to dance as a career, but it happened not as she expected or imagined. After high school and a very long break of not dancing, she was asked to start teaching dance. Her heart was resistant to this because she loved performing but gave teaching a try. Once she started teaching, she knew she needed more training herself so she enrolled in Pikes Peak Community College’s dance program. Out of that, she was hired to teach at the Air Force Academy and danced with High Altitude Dance Ensemble, Our Community Dance Company, Sansara, and Open Sky Colorado/Jubilee Arts Collective. She now owns Dana’s Dance studio in Woodland Park, Colorado, where she was granted that scholarship all those years ago. It has been an incredible gift to dance with this ministry and use that as a form of loving on people.
was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. She started dancing at Doxa Dance Ministry where she studied ballet, pointe, and contemporary, and performed various corps and lead roles in Doxa’s original ballets. She was also a part of their pre-professional training program where she had the opportunity to perform locally, nationally, and internationally while using dance as a platform to share the gospel. She attended Ballet Magnificat’s summer dance intensive in 2016, 2017, and 2018. In 2020 she moved to Madison, Wisconsin, to join the trainee program with Magnum Opus Ballet and performed alongside the company for the 2020-21 season. From 2021-2023 Rebekah danced with Reverent Rhythms, touring to six different states performing the company’s repertoire and sharing the gospel.
started dance at the age of 18. He quickly fell in love with it and hasn’t stopped! He has been heavily active in the arts since he was little though. Doing drama in his church and for school, and performing wherever he would get an opportunity. Being raised in a very musical and artistic household, he has a love for all things creative. After high school, Houston went through the Actors, Models, & Talent for Christ program where he was cross trained in acting, modeling, dancing, and singing to prepare for a professional career in the entertainment industry. He then went on to attend Ocean’s Edge School for music, songwriting, and artist development. He currently teaches dance at a studio and private music lessons. He hopes to continue his career and get more opportunities to perform and share his music wherever the Lord takes him!
is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and recently graduated with her BFA in Dance and BA in Theatre Performance from Belhaven University. She performed in both concert dance works and theatre shows throughout high school and college, and has been teaching and choreographing for the past 10 years. Liz currently teaches at Turning Pointe School of Dance, choreographs for STARZ Theater Company, and had choreography selected to perform at the 2023 Alabama Dance Festival. Dance ministry has been woven throughout her dance experience and she is loving the opportunity to not only continue her own dance training and expression through Jubilee, but also relishes being able to use dance as worship and blessing.
